The Trauma Hemostasis & Oxygenation Research (THOR) Network is a global resuscitation and blood network that originated in Norway over a decade ago. Today, it brings together civilian and military resuscitation clinicians and scientists to advance pre-hospital and in-hospital management of critically unwell patients.
THOR’s vision is to improve outcomes for patients experiencing traumatic hemorrhagic shock by optimising the acute phase of resuscitation. Our mission is to develop and implement best-practice strategies for hemorrhagic shock resuscitation—from the field to the hospital.
